I inproved on all of my scores from last year and i am really proud of myself! i have learnt loads but most of all i had lots of fun.

Hi Layla,

Thank you for teaching me all of the sports I learnt and improved on at beach fit, I really enjoyed the athletics because I like sports.

I'm glad I came on holiday to Weymouth twice this summer because I love it there and I was able to have fun doing beach fit.

If I come back to Weymouth next year I will join in again because beach fit is good fun. I thought beach fit was the best!

You may remember that we spent a brilliant week in Weymouth (4th - 11th August), made special for us by our children participating in Beach Fit for 8 sessions, which they enjoyed so much! Our two children are Tim, (of the phenomenal discus throw of over 30metres into the sand sculpture tent) and Ciaran and their cousins Daniel and Jonathan (Trouble). You asked us to provide you with some feedback to help you with future bids and we are extremely pleased to do so. Once we have the camera film developed, we will E-mail you some copies of our photos, which you may wish to use in future bids, to demonstrate their unbridled enjoyment.

"We thought that the whole concept of Beach Fit was an excellent idea. It was great value for money at just £4 per 45 minute session. The quality of coaching was top class and the manner of interaction with the children was really encouraging. Every day we had the request, "May we go to Beach Fit again today, please?" which speaks volumes for our children's enjoyment of the activities on offer. The careful use of PB cards ensured that the children continually gave of their best, with targets given during each discipline to ensure maximum, sustained effort and progression. Your club has successfully married first class educational coaching with sheer enjoyment and that deserves acknowledgement, especially in promoting and opening up athletics and fitness to youngsters, who may not otherwise have had such opportunities. Our children are still wearing the Beach Fit caps they won as 'athletes of the day' with great pride. We strongly commend Beach Fit to any local council thinking of engaging them on a fun programme of sports. These guys know what they're doing and they execute those ideals perfectly. Well done, Layla & Pete and thanks again for all your encouragement of our two children. We hope to meet up with you again next year in Dorset."

I expect that Beach Fit is drawing to a close now at Weymouth. Hope the weather holds for your final week and that your next project is just as successful.

Just wanted to say hello and send a big thank you to you for the training sessions over the last few weeks. We really enjoyed doing athletics and wish we lived in Weymouth to have done it more. We have hopefully got some lovely photos to send to you and some video footage of us doing the relay race. As soon as we have got it, we will send it to you. We think it is an excellent idea and really hope that you keep doing it next year when we hope to return to Wymouth again. We learned a lot but most of all we had a lot of fun.
